Note From Jim: It is rare to issue a 35 page ruling in a case unless the judge is a rare genius redefining law and creating a major precedent that all other cases must follow. This is not that type of a judge.

She knows the case will be appealed and overturned. That is why her clerk wrote a 35 page explanation hoping that something will stick.

By the way, I didn't see a compliant by the lendor in the case squealing fraud. And if the lendor did, a sane business would ask for third party appraisal before issuing a multi-million dollar loan.
