A paradox now sits at the center of global finance: the US government, in trying to stabilize its debt markets, has legitimized the very free-market forces that are eroding its monopoly over money.
I don't get it. How can a Stablecoin based on the fiat dollar which is based on a fiat Treasury which is based on gold which we may or may not have (now or when we need it) help solve our economic problems? It sounds like another gimmick to kick the barrel down the road.
