Yesterday I posted this Rant The June 29th New AnI Data Systems. Restatement of Facts and Assumptions.
It tells of CERN’s announcement that on June 29, 2026, how it will crash the current Internet and replace it with a new one beamed up to Star-Link satellites, to digitize the history of the world hidden from us. That signal will then be beamed back to earth users.
Sounds like science fiction doesn’t it? Let’s just look at Star-Link, shall we?
1) Their Satellite fleet is 10,245 operational satellites. Source
They own 83% of all operational satellites. (10,000 / 12,000) Source
2) Their Marketing Plan is a bit bizarre for a Multi-Billion Dollar collection, don’t you think.
There are two types of Marketing: Push and Pull. Push says you should be harassed once a week to be ashamed not to be a customer of theirs. Pull is when you realize the Titanic is sinking you will be screaming for a lifeboat ticket.
3) We know the US Military uses Starlink extensively. Is that because they can bank on them in the future; that they are the future?
4) Why did Musk choose a lower altitude rather than the higher altitude his predecessors choose?I don’t know.
But I suspect he had reasons and it can’t be to save on rocket fuel costs. We know that because he’s not marketing to get fast bucks back – he’s playing a long game, with what appears to be unlimited funding.
The question now is what will become of the higher altitude satellites if a new and improved signal is broadcast by Starlink?
5) Inexpensive Dish Receiver system. It’s an 18 inch dish that can sit on the ground and weighs about 2 pounds.
It can be delivered in 2 days and be installed by a 10 year old with a borrowed telephone. There is no army of linemen / installers. See: YouTube
6) I assume that Starlink's new signal can be received by current dish competitors to provide the new internet service to current non-Starling users. So new dishes may not be required by those now receiving internet.
That means the StarLink dishes was designed for all the non-Internet folks on the planet.
Summing It Up.
Whenever I look at pictures of Elon Musk several questions come to mind. Such as “Who is he” and "Where did he come from”. I have never delved into those questions because of his snug smirk.
It is the same smirk 16 year old girls get when they realize that collectively, the girls have the nookie market cornered !
