My sister Judy sent me a beautiful birthday card for my birthday today. I just had to share it with you.
My brother John passed away two years ago. He was always the life of the party. A great many of those parties were at my Moms house; it was big and centrally located, and best of all, always free as she went dancing on Saturday nights.
One such impromptu party happened without me. Apparently the drinking conversation was about costumes we all had to wear in catholic grade school plays. Mom sewed all of them. Someone said Mom still saved them. The treasure box was located and plundered.
Mom was not only a magical seamstress but also taught us how to laugh. I miss both Mom and John.
Enjoy my Birthday card! The angel is not one of of my seven sisters as they could have never qualified as an angel. Once again John was probably the instigator. I was told yesterday that one sister grabbed the back of his whatever which broke the old elastic and John ran out with his whatever showing.
