Yesterday, this podcast was posted: US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick says President Trump’s goal is to abolish the IRS. The article adds that 6,000 jobs are being cut from the IRS now. I do not believe those cuts are indicative of anything about the closing of IRS, because they are part of across the board Federal cuts ongoing in all departments.
I do believe the IRS will soon be gone as we know it – no more personal tax returns required.
But here are two things I suggest we consider regarding the timing of the closing of IRS:
1) We know that the US Corporate Government is bankrupt. Will the IRS remain a few months more for the tax revenue to act as a bridge loan as we switch from the corporate government to the Re-Stored Republic?
2) Recall that the notorious gangster Al Capone was sentenced to life in prison after killing many persons. But also recall that he was incarcerated for Income Tax Evasion as that was easier to prove than trying to locate destroyed bodies as proof of the murders. My guess is IRS will remain active long enough for the Swamp Millionaires to be in violation of income tax evasion and their assets seized for those unpaid taxes. Once this happens IRS might be closed. With DOGE evidence and Military tribunals it might be within a few months.
Just my personal thoughts.
