Opus is loosely defined as the works of one composer, artist, writer or creator. They are usually numbered rather than named.
A few days ago in Clif High’s podcast, Novelty Theory bites your ass! You were warned!, he tells us about the Novelty Theory. That is the theory that the Universe can’t stand homogenization, sameness, Central Control, etc. On the contrary, the universe prefers uniqueness, non-conformity and diversification. Just look at all the works of the Universe, numbered by years, so far for your proof of diversification.
But that is the Universe itself. Let’s just focus our thoughts only on our Earth. It is generally accepted that the earth is more or less managed by Mother Nature herself, and can she be a bitch when she is angered and not getting her way! One thing for sure that she can’t handle is vacuums. She seems to hate them most of all.
So as Clif so cleverly points out, our human culture has been hijacked for thousands of years forcing us to the ever oneness of one central control system of all there is. We are just about there now. Bigger countries started capturing small countries, colonizing them in some manner, and plundering them mercilessly. Then the biggies would move on to colonize the next country. Now we find no more unconquered countries left on earth. Their system will die when they can no longer feed their system, which is happening now. They are literally starving to death at this point.
So what do you suppose Mother will do with a sudden vacuum of collapsed government powers, cultures, Economic systems, etc.? I will tell you what, she will fill those vacuums with diversity post haste. She will empower the creators, the movers and shakers, the humans that seem to get things going quickly. She will insure there are many, many diverse creations arriving on the scene, crowding each other. She will then allow the various populations decide which systems each population chooses is the best to survive most of the others systems. That is the way of nature.
In a nutshell that is the Novelty Theory. Now, will all the creators step forward and begin creating, please. The rest of humanity needs to seriously look at Rhonda Byrne’s book and video, The Secret. The rest of humanity needs to focus on their leadership skills, get over their hiding in the shadows and just step up and get to creating. Humanity demands all hands on deck now as we recreate ourselves (evolve).
Don’t be shy. Step up and “Get ‘er done, for god’s sake!”
In the near future we will be creating more with our minds than our bodies.
