Jim’s Daily Rant. New Medical Systems Post Collapse.

Jim Costa

I have written about this many times before but cannot retrieve those Rants. However I feel I must advise readers again.

Some twenty years ago I saw many subsystems in the U.S. Collapse and Reset. One of the first was our Industrial Medical system. I never saw the cause of its collapse nor was concerned with the cause. I just saw the sudden collapse, that was it. It felt like it might take a short time, such as six months to a year to complete its downfall.

That collapse would entail hospitals, large medical (doctor) groups (practices). It included all medical insurance companies, big Pharma, and most medical support businesses, medical teaching programs. And the top medical control vehicles (AMA, Journals, doctor schools). All would go bankrupt or just dissolve allowing individuals to strike out on their own to reorganize themselves.

I saw small medical practices spring up and try to contract with failing hospitals and floundering medical insurance companies. This new round of attempts were just small versions of what was left behind, without creative visions of the future. This round would quickly fail too.

I never saw Medbeds but knew there would be an explosion of hidden healing methods doctors would have to be schooled for.

I saw the next round of medical practices as success stories. They took novel approaches, depending on their medical expertise. But first let’s begin with the family practice. Their new shingle would say Wellness Center. They focused on keeping the patient healthy instead of focusing on symptoms. Due to the lack of medical insurance companies, the doctors could now break rank of central control and specified protocols that must be followed. Without the protocols, the requirement of expensive malpractice liability insurance coverage will greatly be reduced in costs, because malpractice will be extremely hard to prove. This will be because doctors can now rely on their gut instincts Medical arts) instead of following rigid rules established by Big Pharma and the AMA.

So with the stated freedom in the above paragraph, the new doctor associations can safely experiment to fill the medical vacuum quickly.

Financial:

The new Medical Insurance will be basic monthly fees to be a patient of that practice. In the event of extreme needs, perhaps a supplemental bill might be in order.

Doctors & Associates:

Along with the family practice, they may have as associates such as: Physician Assistants, Therapists, Homeopathic specialists, Social workers, Nurses, Health instructors and Pharmacists. Don’t forget that Big Pharma will die and have to make a comeback. In the meantime the doctor will have a smaller list of prescriptions to work with and will need prescription consultations as the world changes.

Perhaps several small practices will co-op and establish a small emergency center to use in place of the big hospitals. Big hospitals will have to struggle to recreate themselves over time.

The Goal:  To return to the days of old when the doctor knew you, the stresses of your life and your medical history. Instead of placing the patient on tons of medication, his primary goal is to keep you healthy and off medications as much as possible.

Perhaps he can provide free healthy living classes, dietary plans, gym, family get togethers for support groups to be there if needed. So now it’s not all up the the doctor if a patient gets into trouble. Volunteers are on call to help that patient group.

Sounds crazy, doesn’t it? Well, that’s what I saw.

P. S. Two years ago I wrote a rough business plan for a Pharmacist to create such an association to be the first to fill the local void as Big Pharma collapses. It is for my Daughter-In-Law, a pharmacist. She has not seen it yet.
