The movie Made In Dagenham is the true 1968 story of one woman causing women’s wages to become equal to men’s in certain industries around the world. It is well worth the time to watch it.
What is left out of the movie, until the notes afterward, is that once England went to equal pay, within a year it became universal in all Western countries. That is all the note said. But in my mind I saw the hand of the Elites, the Central Banksters, controlling the economic system. This was a way to raise inflation by getting the wives into the workforce so the population would not notice the higher inflation due to the second family paycheck.
That is why I can suggest that the United Auto Workers are acting more out of Elite control in striking all three major car companies in the U. S. We now see the auto industry as a whole collapsing in the U. S., including sales of new and used cars, auto insurance companies, finance companies and small banks financing them, etc.
Therefore, it is my opinion that the strike is to prevent citizens from seeing the Big - 3 Auto Makers being forced to lay off employees due to floundering sales. This way the unions are the cause for the layoffs, not the result of a collapsing economy.
