We all know how hard it is at times to discuss life with small children, don’t we? I once saw a cartoon of a 7 year old boy upsetting the devil outta his father while he was reading his newspaper. Jr, just said “Dad, I think I got a girl in trouble.” Out of sight in the hallway stood a

7 year old girl with a cook pot stuck on her head.

In the original movie Planet of the Apes, there was a scene when an astronaut tried to explain an advanced civilization to the apes who were now in control.

As a side note, I remember seeing this Johnny Carson show when he interviewed an actor from the Apes filming next door. Carson said “Imagine a woman just turning her TV on and saying “What the hell is this?” Link

Then we have this story that resulted just after WWII that made it in the World Book Encyclopedia circa 1960:

“A religion that worships aircraft was started by a group of people who saw their first plane fly over Vanuatu, a remote island in the South Pacific of Australia, during the Second World War.

After the planes delivered food and supplies to the islanders, the group began to believe that cargo would be brought to them by a Messiah. Consequently, whenever they saw a plane fly overhead they would build a replica - in the hope of more bounty.” Source

In these hectic times, I suggest you watch this movie Last of The Dogmen. It is most comforting. There is a scene when the main character is trying to explain airplanes to historical cultured Indians. They thought it was a joke.
