It’s Called Creative Visualization.

Humans have the ability to create their futures. But first one must visualize what we want that future to be. If we can’t see it accurately we cannot create it. Before Michelangelo ever struck the first blow on that giant slab of marble with hammer and chisel, he had to visualize David posing in it.

Many humans are so stressed out that we may have forgotten to visualize what we want rather than what we fear. Thus we are creating what we fear – a fearful life.

It’s Called Project Management.

That is the act of actualizing your visualization into a reality, as in creating things, actions or conditions immediately around us. This includes creating art, music (even if just in our heads), life calmness and health.

It’s Called Meditation.

Medical researchers used to say that the Beta Dream State (when you dream) was the best state for healing our bodies. Then about 30 years ago they discovered it is when we meditate that we heal ourselves the most. The act of blanking our minds out for a few moments allows the body to send free oxygen where it feels it is needed for repair. Have you ever considered why doctors now put patients in temporary comas?

Meditation is a blank mind in place of reminding yourself to pick up the dry cleaning before you get barked at.

Meditators are very calm afterward and stay that way for hours. This also calms those around us. Calmness releases the stress and heals us.

There are many forms of meditation: Yoga, golf, knitting, running, reloading ammo (you don’t really think they are saving money do you?).

It’s Called Self Actualization, Creating Your Own Life.

Creating your life with art, beauty, calmness, a temporary escape and health.

Now It's your turn. What do you choose to visualize?

I find that going back to the old ways is beneficial. In particular the old medicine -- herbalism -- is useful and often effective. Got an earache? I put onion or garlic on my ear. Bitten by a poisonous snake or spider, echinacea (purple cone flower), or plantain (white man's footprint) work for me singly or in combination even better. Add a little marshmallow (which soothes and keeps flesh from dying) and dandelion (a kidney and liver tonic) and the combination works ever better. Humans evolved with the Earth. We need to return to it, not be misdirected into machine world of transhumanism.
