The Conglomerate, a corporation of corporations, ran Earth Inc financially into the ground and is getting new management. The Owners remain the same and issue marching orders from several layers up in the pyramid. You will never knowingly meet the owners or even hear about them in the news unless you are in one of their many exclusive clubs.
Some old timers may have heard the rumors of Obama's first days in the White House. As the story goes, Papa Bush walked in on him, bypassing all security checkpoints, and told Obama who he worked for and he better not get out of line...
Similar story for Jesse Ventura. As he was getting acquainted with his new desk as Gov of Minnesota he was "invited" to a meeting in the basement. LIKE RIGHT NOW, not optional. A bunch of folks were waiting there to tell him how he was going to run the office. They were normal looking people like police officers, secretaries, FEDEX drivers, store owners, all sorts of agency plants he might see every day.
