Trump says he's serious about Canada being the 51st. I guess he will get serious about Mexico being the 52nd after the cartels are cleaned up. Panama looks like they are on board for some changes and El Salvadore is being cooperative. Greenland is going to take some serious negotiations with Denmark and the EU but they will likely cave under the pressure of a global financial crisis where all of Europe is fighting for basic financial survival. Trump looks like he is giving Canada the illusion of choice.
Canada was already kinda sorta the 51st state as they incorporated under USinc in 2002. Maybe Mexico too but not sure. The Cabal had already made plans for USinc to lead a North American Union or NAU that far back but things have recently changed. No more USinc means Canada is floating around without a corporate headquarters...
The 2020 USMCA was the public start under Trump. That 2020 agreement prolly left out the part about the Restored Republic. Now that USinc is going bankrupt in public some USMCA updates may be required to reflect the Restored Republic. A Mexican cartel war might be the stick to convince Mexico to join the NAU.
