This one is about 5 guys closure.
Subway shops announced the closing of 729 stores about a month ago, now.
Wendy's closed about 600 locations late last year with no notice. One is near me. In a zip code that has $800,000 condos with tenants who make over $350k a year.
Near 2 major interstates. Had high volume. Traffic wrapped around the building yet closed with no notice late 2025.
They closed 240 locations in late 2024.
They have announced the closure of 300 to 600 more locations the first 6 months of 2026.
I'm only highlighting these two fast food places as it would take me roughly 3 days of research to computate the over 100 retailers that have closed in the last 22 months or less.
