Blood Spilled as White Hats Arrest Former DEFSEC Mark Esper

White Hats were fired upon Sunday night, August 23, 2026, as they served former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper a military arrest warrant charging him with treason, abetting the enemy, seditious conspiracy, blackmail, and espionage.

Esper was President Trump’s SECDEF from July 23, 2019, to November 9, 2020—the shortest tenure of any U.S. defense secretary.

Jared Kushner pushed Trump in June 2019 to nominate Esper as the best man for the job. The Senate confirmed him 90-8. Five months later Trump fired him by tweet as “Mark Yester,” named Chris Miller his replacement, and called Esper insufficiently loyal. They clashed in June 2020 when Trump sought the Insurrection Act against violent BLM and ANTIFA rioters. Esper backed DEI in the ranks and said transgender troops were as combat-capable as others.

Opinions are not crimes. Officials serve at the President’s pleasure. In 2023, Kash Patel called Esper an obstructionist Deep Stater in Government Gangsters. After a November 2020 Navy SEAL rescue of Phillip Watson from kidnappers in Niger, Esper told Trump that Patel never requested airspace clearance. Records showed Patel and State had obtained it.

That book put Esper on the White Hats’ radar. Investigators learned he twice met Hillary Clinton at her Chappaqua mansion and visited Barack Obama’s Martha’s Vineyard estate in December 2019 while serving Trump—trips missing from his itinerary despite taxpayer-funded flights.

By November 2025, a dozen former subordinates gave testimony enough for a sealed indictment. A White House source said JAG will present proof of treason at a military tribunal.

On Sunday, JAG officers and MPs under Marine Commandant Gen. Eric M. Smith surrounded Esper’s 10-acre ranch in Big Sky, Montana. Private security opened fire. Two of Esper’s guards were killed. One JAG officer was wounded when 5.56mm rounds severed a femoral artery. Another died from a shot to the forehead.

From a second-story window Esper shouted he was coming out and not to murder him. Hands raised, he emerged repeating he was unarmed. He was placed in an unmarked military vehicle.

A White Hat source said they executed a lawful warrant. Esper will have his day in court.

Why Kushner championed Esper remains unanswered. Some say Trump placed Deep Staters where they would later be exposed. Others say the Deep State boxed in his first term. Either way, another piece is off Trump’s 5D chessboard.
