I think Cliff nails it with his commentary. We are shifting into a very different paradigm. His commentary on christianity is salient but he seems to be threatened by the basic teachings of antiquity. We now have original copies of many of the writings that are closer in time to the events of that period. As for Yahshua being the "savior" that is documented. But he was subtle about how he presented this.

There are approximately 25 thousand writings dealing with the phenomenon of this guy. The gospel of Thomas is probably a much later document from the Gnostic group out of Egypt. There is much interest in this Gnostic writing as it gives a different view of the Master. 

The writings of Judas Thomas were in conflict with the apostles James and Peter. Probably some of the other guys/followers of that period. Personally I think it is a fake like so much out of the Gnostic movement.

Why do I bring this up....you ask? The Gospel of Thomas is the "big hoo haa" these days for the detractors of the christian movement based on salvation. There was a huge dichotomy between the early believers and followers. After the fall of Jerusalem, the movement splintered in so many directions that it makes a prophet's head spin.

All this theological mish mash is now coming to a head and the Vatican is scrambling to cover their proverbial asses. The salient thing is that christianity, for the most part, has never actually embraced the Master's teachings. It is a big con job to control people and their thinking. So far removed from Yahshua's actual teachings.

Gotta love Ghandi as he nailed it. And then we have the various denominations beating the crap out of us guys who think for ourselves and actually do research into antiquity. They are threatened by anyone who is an objective scholar into Antiquity and the Herculean events of that time.
