Last week this story appeared: The New Book Burners: Blaming Trump, Two NJ Dem Lawmakers Want Schools to Stop Teaching ‘Huckleberry Finn’. Many boys like myself read this book – it was wonderful. Later in college I learned that it was the first novel to be published that was written in 100% colloquial speech of the time period. The amazing thing about the story is it taught its readers of the evils of slave ownership and helped change this country’s negative views of the black race and led it towards the equality goal post. The ironical thing about it is it most assuredly was banned because it used the word Nigger a lot. Therefore, because it used the word Nigger to show how the word was disrespectful, the book that showed how the word was disrespectful should be banned.

Today Tyler Durden Published this article: College Diversity Office Releases 40-Page 'Speech' Code, Quickly Rescinds It. It seems the Speech Code (listing of words never to be said again) was published the day before Trump signed the Executive Order requiring the loss of Federal funds to colleges that do not support free speech. The day after the Speech Code was burned so their Federal check would not bounce! So now I ask you, if a law was passed that spelled out words that can never be uttered again, years later would some folk raise up arms and demand that the law be banned from reading because of the wording used in that law?

And just this evening this headline appeared: Not A Single Senate Democrat Votes "For" Green New Deal. Here they are selling us this plan right up until yesterday and now they won’t dirty themselves by touching their own legislation.

Yep, Loretta sang it right. We are in a crazy world.
