Jim’s Rant For The Day. Short Shelf Life On Arctic Fleet BS.
On August 29th, DAHBOO7 published the following video, Big Move! US Reactivates 2nd Fleet, Preparing for Arctic Event With "Bad Actors". This is the description of that mothballed fleet:
“Prior to its 2011 disestablishment, Second Fleet oversaw approximately 126 ships, 4,500 aircraft, and 90,000 personnel home-ported at U.S. Navy installations along the United States East Coast.” Source
I have a few questions and observations on this.
1. How long will it take to unpickle the machines and ready the fleet for action? Navy machinists tell me about 3 to 5 years, as they will have to update most of the electronics and some weapons.
2. Can an aircraft carrier fleet operate in the Arctic ocean? If so, will that require additional fleet improvements?
3. Two years ago the Pentagon testified before a Congressional committee about the readiness to wage war with Russia or China. An Admiral (Rogers?)
was asked the life expectancy of a carrier. He said emphatically “Three days unless it is in port. Then it would be two weeks.”
Now this is my final questions. Are we being told this just to make us feel safe in light of the crumbling geopolitical changes happening today, including the amazingly large first ever Russia & China war game going on now?
Are we to believe we are about to spend five years to recommission a fleet that can be destroyed in three days?
Is this fleet really to be recommissioned to do humanity work post reset rather than scare off Russia and China, and we are not being told that? Just asking.
If the answer to the last question isn’t “Yes” then I call BS on the entire story.
