Jim’s Rant For The Day. Imran Awan’s Free Pass.

If you are upset after hearing that the Department of Justice just gave Imwan Awan a forgiveness of any non-violent crime he may have committed in his lifetime, don’t despair. That does not not get him off the hook for Treason.

Correct me if I am wrong here. If he is brought before a military tribunal, all of his Constitutional rights will be waived. Therefore, his right to a prior given pardon will not apply to treason in a Martial Law situation. The military can try him in thirty minutes, find him guilty and have him executed the following day if it chooses. After that his attorney might proceed in a constitutional court to see if the military exceeded its authority.
