Jim’s Rant For The Day. Proof of Blindness.

Yesterday I had my eyes examined to insure my cornea grafts are OK. They are. When the exam was over I told the surgeon that he now had the chance to make a sales call. I told him my wife needs cataract surgery and was due to qualify for Medicare on November first. She wants the surgery as early in November as possible and wants to know when she should begin scheduling appointments with him to facilitate that.

He asked me if she definitely needed the surgery. I said, “You gotta help her Doc, the poor girl still thinks I’m handsome!” He was still laughing when he wrote a name and phone number on a prescription pad. He handed the sheet to me and said, “This is the person that schedules the surgeries. Tell her to back your wife’s appointments in.”
