Jim's Rant For The Day. Erasing the Erasure.
I once read a book on the insane things government organizations do "just because". There was mention of a gentleman who worked in the mail room at the White House. His job was to stamp and date and initial all incoming mail and stamp and date all outgoing mail to verify it was from the White House.
He stamped and dated an incoming package then realized it was for the Congress. He sent it out to them. Three days later he received the package back with a note telling him to "erase his initials and initial his erasure."
I share this with you because the FBI may be experiencing a similar problem. We are told the two lovebird FBI agents' emails for five months have been lost. Yet at the same time the DOJ says they have them and FOX news is telling us what they say. Could it be that in the world of a thousand copies of electronic files it is now impossible to erase them all? Perhaps the Lovebirds need to go back and initial, initial, initial their erasures, erasures, erasures.
Oh what a web we weave . . .
