The next two days may be wild news days but on just one subject – Hawaii.

Are we back in the 60s or in the new digital world today? That will be the question.

Back in the 60’s the Civil Defense system relied on disk jockeys to insert the correct “This is Just a Test” tape into the player for that Friday afternoon NORAD test. Occasionally the wrong tape was inserted accidentally or on purpose.

Is it possible that NORAD still relies on disk Jockeys after 60 years and millions of dollars to spend? I doubt that. My guess is that the entire system is wired together; the radar, central computer, air defense alert at air military bases, missiles defense systems and even the big thick automatic door closure.

Hell, I will even bet most of the radio stations don’t even have Disk Jockeys anymore that can be blamed. Is it possible that it was an actual missile launch directed at Hawaii? Stay tuned folks, it is going to be an interesting two days.
