Jim's Rant For The Day. Today's Knows.

This is what we know today about yesterday. On New Year's Day, all flights in and out of the U.S. were either cut off or greatly reduced. Immigration and Customs computers were "down" for the day.

We also know that five Russian airports were shut down yesterday.

1,000 indictments were issued by the Federal Government in 2009. In the past seven weeks the Feds have now issued 10,000 in that time period.

An 800 man Military Police Brigade was sent to Gitmo for eight months.

It appears that persons being held are not being held for fraud or corruption. Rather it appears more likely that they are being held as enemy combatants, a more serious crime than treason.
