On the initial count of first round voting, looks like Le Pan and Macron each have about 23% of the votes, according to multiple Tweets from a variety of sources including the BBC.

One Tweet mentions, "If Macron v Le Pen then, as I was saying on Sunday Politics, 1st time in history of 5th republic, neither mainstream party made 2nd round" -- BBC presenter Andrew Neil
