Jim's Daily Rant. The Table Is Set.

Today is January 6th. SCOTUS meets to discuss the Brunson case today. It has been suggested that first SCOTUS must first take a hard look at zeitgeist. That is defined as “The spirit of the age, the taste, outlook and spirit characteristic of the period” source; thus the political world around us at this time.

It has been suggested that more pressure will be placed on the judges if Congress is deadlocked. I think that that pressure is what they will feel today as we are back to just before our Civil War when it took around 126 votes to seat a Speaker of the House.

The table is set for the feast.
