Two months ago Clif High said in April or early May the Mani Street News Media would be caught in a trap. They would have to discuss a news story that they wish would just go away. But in order to defend their indefensible position, that would become the news story by having to talk about the story they did not want to be a story to begin with. Did you get that?
 

They have to make up a new story in order to defend firing Tucker Carlson. The new story will be their only chance to convince the world that the real story about their firing Carlson should not be in the news, really.
